Barry's songs reflect the closeness and fondness he feels for the west and his desire to preserve the colorful history and western way of life. He was raised on the western Prairies and makes his home in southwest Alberta and he writes and sings songs that come from personal experience and real life. He has been rewarded with an increasing number of fans both here and abroad with his grassroots music for the new millennium that embodies the essence and the roots of pure, real, country and western music.
