Artists have a unique perspective. Window on the West stage offers you, the members of our audience, the opportunity to see them test their creativity in new and different ways. We invite the Western Art Show Artists to participate in a variety of fun competitions that showcase their special talents. This year our Artists' Hour Events include Western Reflections,'Card' Blanche, Paint with an Artist, Flower Power and the very popular Judy's Jam.

Using a wide variety of specially chosen decorating materials, artists will transform a basic mirror into one with a unique western motif. Here's looking at you!

Our participants will be given an assortment of supplies just moments before the start of this event and they will be applying their skills to create a one of a kind greeting card. They will have 50 minutes to turn this unusual canvas into a masterpiece.
PAINT WITH AN ARTIST

Our Western Art Show Artists will be stepping up on the stage to share their tips and skills with young students. This event will be emceed by Murray Phillips and it will teach both students and audience members some of the special painting techniques used by our Artists. Come and see what you can learn.

Originally our Window on the West stage was known as the Floral stage. As a tribute to our past, we will have six artists from the Western Art Show challenge their imaginations using unusual containers and interesting assortments of floral materials. Share in the fun as they race against the clock to create distinctive floral arrangements.

Judy's Jam is always a popular event with both our Artists and audiences. It will be emceed by Judy, one of our very talented, Window on the West volunteers and she will be joined on stage by our musically talented Artists. This show is totally unrehearsed. We won't know until it starts who will step forward to join Judy on our stage.
