The Calgary Police Service Chorus is now in their 13th year. Chorus members have grown together musically as well as bonded as a unit. By going out into the community, they have been ambassadors of the Calgary Police Service. By sharing their love of music, they demonstrate a more personal and human side of the police service through professionalism, compassion and humor. Each member volunteers their personal time for practices and performances, working around shift work, family, community and work related duties.
The chorus performs between 55 and 60 times a year which equates as a group to 1600 hours of their own personal volunteer time.
