Western Art Show
The Western Art Show is one of the largest exhibits of
its kind in western Canada and includes an art gallery, a photo
gallery, a sales salon area featuring western artists and
artisans, a photo competition, and an art auction. New and
established artists are juried into the show that offers oil
painting, watercolours, photography and other flatwork media
along with sculpture and carvings that depict our western
heritage. The artisans offer a juried selection of custom,
handcrafted goods also with a western lifestyle theme:
leatherwork, silversmiths, jewellery, fashion and furnishings. A
special area known as The Artist's Window features working
artists demonstrating how their art unfolds.
