Elaine Marshall was born and raised in Calgary, and now currently resides in Water Valley. Having an interest in art, but no previous experience, she enrolled in a weekly painting class in 2000. Never one to let a challenge pass her by, Elaine vowed to master the difficult medium of watercolour. Learning to simplify the momentum of life into shapes and colours has brought her enthusiasm for life to a higher level.
