Anna Trudering was born in England, and grew up in the wide open spaces of East Africa. She immigrated to Canada, where she worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. Anna always had a desire to paint the great outdoors, flowers and mountains; her love of skiing fuelled this passion. In 1991, she took up watercolour painting at the Leighton Centre. Since then, she has taken numerous workshops with prominent artists from across Canada and the United States, as well as classes at the Alberta College of Art. "I love the way watercolour flows across the paper, mixing colours and creating its own synergies. My love for the Mountains, high alpine areas, and all of nature gives me the ability to create my paintings."
