John Lawrence :: Western Art Gallery Artist
John Lawrence is primarily interested in plein-air painting and seeks inspiration in weekly paint-outs. Being raised on a ranch in southern Alberta has helped John to appreciate the joy of capturing (on location) the beauty and grandeur of the foothills and mountains of the province. He is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and past president and life member of the Calgary Sketch Club. Collectors have found his paintings in galleries in Calgary, Canmore, Cochrane, Banff and Crowsnest Pass.
