Fanny Fynebuik was born in Holland and moved to Calgary in 1957 where she currently resides. She has studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design as well as the Dutch College of Arts and Crafts in Groningen, Holland. She is a member of the Calgary Sketch Club and the Federation of Canadian Artists. She has won many awards for her participation, commitment, and excellence in art. Fanny enjoys painting on location primarily in Alberta as well as the west coast. The tranquility of nature shows through in her paintings.
