Anne McGilvary :: Western Art Gallery Artist

Preferring acrylics as a medium, Anne McGilvary’s canvasses evolve using a multiple layering technique with a significant amount of attention paid to detail. She has taken drawing and landscape painting classes through the Alberta College of Art and Design, and has attended both local and international art workshops. Anne is a member of the Foothills Art Club in Cochrane, and she has displayed and sold her work at art shows in the Calgary area. Anne is also a member of the Calgary Decorative Artists and was invited into the Artists Window at the Calgary Stampede in 2007.
