Creative Arts and
Crafts
Creative Arts & Crafts is one of the most popular exhibits on
the park, featuring hundreds of entries in creative arts and
crafts and cake decorating.
The exhibit is also home to the popular Make It and Take It,
which features local businesses specializing in different
crafts. Visitors are welcome to learn a new craft, and take
their project with them. Every two days a new craft will be

ATCO Kitchen Theatre
We're really cooking at the ATCO Kitchen Theatre! You're invited
to watch the excitement and taste the culinary results of guest
chefs each day of the Stampede. Thanks to our sponsors, local
chefs and cooks use contemporary facilities to create down-home
cuisine masterpieces, with urban chic and country flair. Each
show is unique, fun, educational and entertaining.

Window on the West
Window on the West Stage is where it's 'happening' in Western
Showcase. We showcase both the old west and modern western
lifestyles in a variety of ways and fashions. Surrounded by
wonderful western art, a huge craft display and beautiful things
made by talented artisans we are the place to come and "sit a
spell". Come for a "how to" demonstration on something you have
always wanted to know or to listen to musical groups like the
Calgary Fiddlers. Cowboy poetry will tickle your funny bone and
give you a unique perspective of life in the west. ...more
WESTERN ART SHOW
Western Art Show
Western Canada's largest Western Art Show combines a Gallery,
Sales Salon and Auction for your viewing and purchasing
pleasure. A wide range of artists offering flatworks and three-dimensionals
will appeal to any pocketbook.
In addition to our fabulous display at the Roundup Centre, we
are displaying Western Art at the Dream Home and in the Brand
Room of the Headquarters Building. ...more
Western Art Gallery
Each year the Gallery displays and sells the work of 20
to 25 artists in the Western Showcase area located in the
Roundup center of the Stampede grounds. The artists are
established artists as well as emerging western artists. The
Gallery offers patrons an opportunity to purchase quality
western art anytime during the Stampede....more
Western Art Auction
For the artists, it is competitive. For the judges, it is a professional challenge. The result? A stunning 90+ piece collection of the finest in Western Art produced by Canadian and American artists, and a select group of historic estate pieces. This gala evening also includes a "Quick Draw", where artists produce work within a one-hour time frame.
Artisan's
This area provides a variety of top quality hand-made crafts.
Our volunteers attend craft shows in search of new talent as
soon as the Stampede is over and until the next show begins.
Artisans are selected for their uniqueness of craft, quality of
workmanship, and suitability for display and demonstration of

Sales Salon
The Western Art Show Sales Salon endeavors to present well-known
and emerging Canadian & American artists whose work is
indicative of the heritage & grandeur of the West. Every artist
is juried into the show which is based upon the quality of the
work, as well as encompassing the theme of Western Art. The
majority of the work must be representative of the Western Art
theme, which depicts themes of Western Prairie/Mountain Culture,
lifestyle, heritage, and characters that is diverse in medium
and subject including; Ranching; Landscapes; Rodeo; Agriculture;
First Nations; Florals; Portraits; Architecture; Wildlife. ....more
Western Photo Gallery
Preserving and promoting western heritage and values is the
core vision of the Calgary Exhibition & Stampede. So, the
